2024 COHASSET KIDS TRI

WHAT: We are excited to bring back our super fun Kids Triathlon!! In this race, everyone is a winner (and we mean it!). Our goal is to inspire kids to live an active and healthy lifestyle and have fun doing it!

WHEN: Saturday, August 3, 2024

WHERE: Cohasset Swim Center - a wonderful 25-yard outdoor pool

CATEGORIES:

8 & UNDERS
- Swim 2 lengths of the pool (50 yards)
- Bike 1.5 miles
- Run 1/2 mile
9-11 YEAR OLDS
- Swim 4 lengths of the pool (100 yards)
- Bike 1.5 miles
- Run 1 mile
12-14 YEAR OLDS
- Swim 6 lengths of the pool (150 yards)
- Bike 1.5 miles
- Run 1 mile

OUR TEAM: Bill Burnett, Cohasset Tri Founder and owner of Goldfish Swim School in Rockland will lead the event. Volunteer parents are needed (we are in this together!). Please email Bill if you’d like to lend a hand to bill@streamlineevents.com

FINISHER BLOCKS: Each participate will received a finisher block as they cross the finish line! We will acknowledge our Top 3 finishers (per age group) at the end of the race, but in the spirit of “everyone wins” there will be no podium medals.

OTHER: This event will be timed, but we want to emphasize it’s finishing what matters the most not the time!

REGISTRATION FEE: $65/child (plus a service fee). We’ve tried to keep this number as low as possible! This fee covers chip timing, USA Triathlon license fee, finisher medal, swim cap, food, and many other event logistics. A portion of the proceeds for this event will be given to the Cohasset Swim Center.
