We lost our friend, brother, and son way too early. We are grieving. While the feelings are still so raw, we hope to find a slice of comfort in an idea that will make Will proud.

Please join us on Sunday, June 23, 2019 in Cohasset at Sandy Beach as we will swim, bike, and run for Will. Will never participated in the triathlon before, though we know he would have “crushed it” like he has done in all his other sport endeavors. It only seems fitting that a group of people who loved Will, from around the country, will get together to race in his name.

The Cohasset Triathlon epitomizes Will Golden. The triathlon is about trying something new, achieving an athletic accomplishment, it’s about the close community of Cohasset, and it’s about doing something together for the greater good of oneself.

So you’ve never done a triathlon before? Not to worry. We are looking to form relay teams – one person will swim 400 yards, one person will bike 12 miles, and one person will run a 5K. If you are feeling up to it you can do all three legs (or just two legs) of the race. Special “Will Golden” shirts will be ordered, and a post-race party is in the works.

Anyone is invited – young and old. The registration fee ($65 for a relay entry, $105 for an individual entry) will give you access to the event along with a free Will Golden T-shirt. A portion of your registration fee will go to the Will Golden Memorial Fund.

If you have any questions please email Bill Burnett. To register, please go to this link.

This effort means the world to the Golden family. Shaun, Jody, Curtis, and Corey continue to be amazed by the outpouring of support.

Let’s make this happen. Tri4Will!
