The Cohasset Triathlon is proud to partner with the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) for this event. Today we are the largest volunteer driven event for JDRF in the country. Over the last four years, through our racer's efforts we have raised over $750,000 for JDRF.
Our staggering fundraising success in 2011 (over $130,000!) was a result of a combined team and individual effort. Our Top 4 fundraising teams in 2011 were Team Lyons ($40,286), Sarah's Soldiers ($37,898), Team Ben ($13,706), the Tri Team for Diabetes ($11,280) and Bode's Bunch ($8,197). Our Top 5 individual fundraisers in 2011 were Clare Bast ($13,655), Robert Mann ($10,794), John Beggens ($6,000), Judy Mann ($5,480), and Mark Bast ($4,100). Outstanding job!
Racers - you can make a difference - here's how!
- If you haven't already when registering for the race, set up an online fundraising page.
- Ask family, friends, and co-workers to visit your personal fundraising page to sponsor you. No amount is too small!
- All donations can be made with a credit card online or mailed-in check (make checks out to "JDRF" and send to the Cohasset Triathlon Association, 11 Linden Drive, Cohasset, MA 02025).
All donations will go directly to JDRF to help cure diabetes and its complication. It couldn't be easier, and you can feel good about making a difference for a great cause!
